For some reason, this painting was mixed up with another one and all comments got lost during converting. That's the reason I am posting this one again here. It was originally painted on 12th of February 2020.
8th African based painting and this one really sets the sky on fire. This was a 100 minute pure wonderful sensation of joy, focus, inspiration and steadiness. The canvas used was a 16"x20" and prepared with liquid clear to keep the hard colouring. Only five colours were used: cad yellow, Indian yellow and cad red deep hue for the sky and VDB brown and ivory black for the tree, leaves, grass AND the elephant! The latter was SO MUCH FUN to do, it took me some ten minutes to paint it and was really considering giving it a friend!
Soon, Felix will make a seperate section for individual paintings like this (meaning not Bob Ross copies) but for the time being, I placed it here. Hope you can all enjoy this one, please let me know what you think about it!
Voy、 Great work agian! Why are your articles gone?
Thank you Jin, this was my second painting in the 'red skies' over Africa that I made. I intentionelly kept the tree small to put more accent on the elephant and it's environment, red coloured by the dusk.
Great to see your appreciative comments Jin, it strengthens me in darker days!

'Red skies over elephant' and 'Red skies over Africa' got mixed together (photos, comments, titles) during conversion. Editing them was impossible, so I elected to post them again!
